The educational goal of this workshop is to increase knowledge of intentional joy and its impact on mental health.
Description
This presentation will introduce participants to the transformative concept of joy and its potential impact on mental health. Cultivating joy can reduce stress and improve anxiety, self-awareness, resilience, and overall mental well-being. Participants will engage in a guided practice of sitting, breathing, thinking, and feeling and explore how this experience can enhance well-being, promote mindfulness, and improve mental health. We will discuss practical strategies for incorporating joy into your daily life and explore ways to create a supportive environment for mental well-being, integrate self-care practices.

Eric Hall is a highly qualified and compassionate mental health professional and serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Creative Minds Healthcare, PLLC. He is a board-certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) based in North Carolina. Eric earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Criminal Justice from Fayetteville State University (FSU) and went on to obtain a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC). With over a decade of experience in the field, Eric has dedicated himself to making a positive impact on the lives of those he serves. As the founder and CEO of Creative Minds Healthcare, PLLC, he leads a mental health practice that specializes in providing Outpatient Services for children, adolescents, and adults. Eric’s expertise includes Diagnostic Assessment, Substance Abuse Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, and Military Counseling. In addition to his clinical work, Eric remains actively engaged in professional organizations such as the National Association for Social Workers (NASW) and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), where he contributes to advancing the field of mental health. Through his compassionate and evidence-based approach to therapy, Eric continues to be a guiding force, offering unwavering support and healing for individuals and families seeking mental health care. As the CEO of Creative Minds Healthcare, he strives to create positive change in the community and improve the overall well-being of those he serves.
