Educational Goal

The educational goal of this module is for participants to define MAT and how it is used, including common drugs and withdrawal symptoms and safety concerns involving MAT.

  • Summarize Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).

  • Explain why a Recovery Specialist would need to know about MAT.

  • Recognize withdrawal symptoms from at least 3 specific medications
