This workshop, “Everyone Wants to Hold the Baby, Who Will Hold the Mother?”, explores the universal needs of mothers and birthing people, emphasizing the critical connection between lactation support and postpartum well-being. Participants will examine maternal mental health as a public health priority, including the continuum of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and their impact on breastfeeding outcomes.
