Description

This training offers an in-depth introduction to Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an evidence-based approach for treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Throughout the session, you will explore the foundational theories that inform CPT, including cognitive-behavioral and information processing models of trauma. You will learn to identify when CPT is an appropriate intervention for clients, understand the essential components of the CPT protocol, and examine how trauma impacts five critical domains of functioning. This course is designed to deepen your clinical understanding and enhance your application of CPT in practice.
