Tanya Porter

Hi, I’m Tanya Porter!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and National Certified Counselor, credentialed in Louisiana, Florida, and Vermont. My approach blends solution-focused, person-centered, ACT, and motivational interviewing modalities, guided by my belief that awareness, commitment, and action are the most effective paths to mental healing.
Outside of my practice, I was recently elected as Secretary for the Louisiana Counselors for Social Justice (2026–2027) and serve on the World Day of Prayer Committee at Westminster Christian Academy. I’m passionate about fostering trust, resilience, and meaningful progress for members, supervisees, and teams while maintaining an approachable, supportive, and professional presence.
