Shirley Leggett

Became a LPN in November 1974, worked as a nurse in emergency medicine and hospital setting until 1994 when I became a LSW. I worked in George Regional hospital as Director of Social work and risk management/ UR until 2010. I retired after 30 years of hospital work and started working for the district or SMPDD. I started out as a supervisor over three countiesthat changed in 2012, I became the program director and now manage the entire program for the southern part of the state. Which includes 15 counties. Im responsible for 67 case mangagers we serve 3400 clients, thru the Elderly and Disable Medicaid Waiver program.
