Shawn Brooks

With over 34 years of experience in residential treatment, I have devoted my career to helping adolescent boys struggling with Problematic Sexual Behavior (PSB). After earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology from Brigham Young University in 1996, I focused my professional efforts on developing effective programming and treatment systems designed to address the complex challenges associated with PSB. Throughout my career, I’ve been committed to advancing evidence-based practices, fostering accountability and growth in the youth I serve, and creating structured environments that promote meaningful, lasting change. I have worked for same program throughout my career. I have started from the ground up 8 different RTC programs that lead me to my current position as the Executive Director of Oxbow Academy. Oxbow Academy has 5 different houses or programs which provide a specialized continuum of care for adolescent boys 10-18 yrs of age.
