Samantha Silverman

Hi! I'm Samantha and am the owner of Silver Linings Counseling (SLC). SLC is a mid- size virtual, group counseling practice located in Colorado. We specialize in working with older adults and those with disabilities. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most Commercial Plans. We are a team of eleven dedicated and compassionate therapists. I decided to pursue a career in social work after surviving the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the World Trade Center. Transitioning from the financial/marketing sector into Social Work proved rewarding, yet equally disadvantageous as I wish to strengthen my business acumen. Due to chronic health conditions associated with the WTC attacks, I am hearing impaired. I utilize technology (but am a total technophobe!) to hear my clients and staff members on the phone and via virtual platforms. My goal is to sustain and grow a long-term, virtual counseling practice. I also specialize in Post Traumatic Growth (PTG) and Resilience.
