Rose Yang, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist in Houston, TX. Rose is a clinical psychologist in the Houston area and has worked at The Menninger Clinic for almost a decade. She specializes in personality disorders, relational difficulties, persistent suicidality, psychological assessment, postpartum mental health, and DEI issues. In addition to serving as a faculty member and clinician on the units, she has held roles including Adult Division Coordinator, Interim Program Director, and DEI Faculty Lead and Liaison for BCM.
She has a passion for working with individuals who are striving to understand how their personality styles impact them—believing that knowing and understanding one’s personality styles empowers the individual and fosters greater empathy within their relational systems.
She has a strong background working with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders such as substance use, personality disorders, and mood disorders. She helps clients gain a deeper understanding of how their substance use relates to avoidance behaviors and attempts to regulate an activated attachment system.
