Ronnie McCarrell

I am the owner and sole practitioner of Choices for Change Counseling located in Greenville. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University of South Carolina Upstate and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Webster University. I am licensed in South Carolina as a License Professional Counseling, a License Professional Counselor Supervisor and a License Addiction Counselor.

I have 28 years of counseling experience. I specialize in working with juveniles with sexual behavior problems and, juveniles/adults with the alcohol and substance use problems. I have experience working in residential, out-patient and in-home settings.

I am a member of South Carolina Clinical Mental Health Counselors Association (SCCMHCA); South Carolina Counselor Association (SCCA); National Association of Perpetration Network (NAPN); Association of the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA); and National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP).

I am currently serving as the Director of Counseling Services at Spartanburg Methodist College and, for the past 6 years, I have served as an Adjunct Professor with Southern Wesleyan University.
