About
Norman is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida. Norman is experienced working with individuals, groups, couples and families. When working with an individual, couple or family Norman assesses and addresses the entire family history, the sum of its parts, and not simply the individuals that comprise it. The distress or problem that originated may not solely be within an individual but a natural reaction to a family dynamic that creates the distress. By using Family Systems Theory Norman is able to help the Client have a deeper awareness of their personal conflicts, how to resolve them, and live a more fulfilling life without addictions.
Norman has a Bachelor’s from the University of Arizona and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. Norman also has experience working with Adolescents, LGBTQ+ Community, HIV/AIDS, Domestic Violence, Sex and Love Addiction, and 12 Step Recovery.
After Graduate School Norman worked in conjunction with the City of West Hollywood, County of Los Angeles, and the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence shedding light on the growing concern of Same-Sex Domestic Violence in the LGBTQ+ Community, and received accommodations for his work.
Norman currently works with a medical practice that has a behavioral health component. He is also available for consultations, animal support letters, and performs community service for several organizations. Norman is a supporter of the arts and enjoys time with family and friends.
