About

Lance Woodley, Th.M., MSW, LISW, CAGCS

Lance Woodley is a licensed psychotherapist, clinical leader, pastor, and educator whose work explores the intersection of spirituality, mental health, and human flourishing. He currently serves as Director of Spiritual Care at Hanley Center and as Associate Pastor of Christ Evangelical Baptist Church, bringing together years of experience in clinical practice, pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, and community development.

A native of “the Muck," the resilient South Florida communities surrounding Belle Glade, Pahokee, and Clewiston; Woodley holds a Master of Theology and a Master of Social Work and has advanced training in grief, trauma, autism spectrum disorders, and spiritually integrated psychotherapy.

Woodley is the developer of the Psycho-Spiritual Human Function Framework, which conceptualizes spirituality as the human function that organizes thoughts, feelings, motivations, and behaviors toward ultimate relatedness—with oneself, others, and the transcendent. His work seeks to bridge clinical knowldge, neuroscience, spirituality, and lived human experience, providing healthcare professionals with practical, evidence-informed approaches for understanding and addressing spirituality within clinical care.
