Katie Piercy

While I am recently licensed in Texas, I have extensive experience working as a counselor in both England and Scotland, where I did my counseling training. I received my Doctorate in Psychotherapy and Counseling from the University of Edinburgh. My doctoral thesis was on my work counseling clients who experienced grief after a pregnancy loss.

I invite clients with any presenting issue to reach out. I have a particular interest in women’s issues, including identity as a mother, motherhood, pregnancy loss, termination, abortion, miscarriage, infertility, perinatal issues, trauma around pregnancy or birth, and how our relationships are impacted by the life transition of a pregnancy or a loss.
