Kathryn Slater

My practice focus is working with women throughout the lifespan and finding strengths and capacities through periods of change. I’ve worked in many practice settings: inpatient, outpatient mental health, residential crisis units, and now focus my work with individual clients in my practice. I understand the complex ways trauma weaves into women’s lives and believe strongly in mind body work as part of the healing process. I’m a parent of two college age children, and also an equestrian coach in the sport of eventing and a USEA ICP instructor which has naturally led to a growth in my sports psychology practice. My practice office is located on my horse farm and provides a private and unique treatment space for my clients.
