Karina Velazquez

My name is Karina Velazquez. I have a Master’s in Clinical Social Work. I currently work as a Patient Advocate at Proactive MD where I bridge the gap for patients navigating the health care system. We believe care is beyond the walls of primary care. I am here to connect individuals and families whether its community, government, healthcare or other resources.

I am passionate about serving disadvantaged populations including homeless families, substance-dependent persons, at-risk youth and other various underserved populations. I completed an Integrated Behavioral Health program at Westfield State University in May of 2019. I am motivated by compassion and eager to make a difference.
