Joumana De Santiago

Joumana De Santiago serves as Director of Interpreter Services & Language Access at Lehigh Valley Health Network-Jefferson, bringing more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience. She oversees language access services, including interpreter operations, medical transcription, vendor management, workforce development, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning for the Lehigh Region for Jefferson. Joumana collaborates with executive and clinical leaders to drive innovative language access solutions, strengthen health equity initiatives, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements for language assistance services. In addition to her leadership role, she is a certified medical interpreter and instructor for Bridging the Gap, helping train the next generation of professional healthcare interpreters. A bilingual speaker of Spanish and English, Joumana is dedicated to eliminating communication barriers and improving healthcare outcomes for diverse patient populations.
