Joanne Barron

Joanne Barron, PsyD, is a licensed Clinical Psychologist practicing in Sherman Oaks California. She is co-owner of Trauma and Beyond Psychological Center which provides out-patient and intensive out-patient for client’s with trauma and related disorders. Dr. Barron holds a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and is certified as an EMDR Therapist, Neuro Affective Relational Model, (NARM ) master practitioner and is trained in the Trauma Resiliency Model, (TRM) Relational Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Affect Regulation, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Right Brain Psychotherapy. Dr. Barron has over 40 years of experience in the addictions and mental health field and is passionate about treating patients with complex developmental trauma and intergenerational trauma. As co-founder of Trauma and Beyond Psychological Center along with Dr. Lynne Friedman-Gell, has developed an integrative approach for treating trauma and dissociative disorders which combines approaches incorporating mind, body and emotions.
