Joani Alyene Burchett, LPC, LCDC, M.A.
Joani believes that the benefits of therapeutic work include experiencing wholeness as a person and making vital changes to one’s life in order to live in freedom and peace. After graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, she went on to complete her M.A. in Counseling. Currently she serves as the Executive Director at Cypress Lake Recovery and also serves as a counselor with the Garth House, an advocacy and counseling center for children and teens who have been the victims of criminal acts. She is a child trauma survivor, and a committed advocate to help people find their voice again.
