Hayley Twyman Brack

Hayley Twyman Brack, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an ODMHSAS certified Wellness Coach. Hayley serves as the Director of Education and Community Outreach with Edmond Counseling & Professional Development’s Oklahoma Counseling Institute. Hayley holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma. She also holds two bachelor’s degrees from Oklahoma State University, including an Honors College degree in Psychology and a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with emphases in Emergency Management, Political Science, and German. As a mental health therapist, Hayley has had extensive training in evidenced-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and trauma-informed interventions, including Written Exposure Therapy. She provides continuing education trainings for mental health therapists on topics related to ethics, artificial intelligence, burnout, wellness, religious and secular issues, trauma, and more.

Hayley is also an accomplished writer, having published over 600 articles across many platforms on topics related to psychology, current events, Oklahoma politics, and satire. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, strength training, and learning. Hayley also enjoys spending time with her spouse, with whom she hosts a 200+ episode board gaming podcast. Hayley has also completed training to become certified in Wilderness First Aid and has received instruction through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on Incident Command Systems. She most recently completed the training to become a Master Food Preserver through the Oklahoma State University Extension. Hayley enjoys learning and is grateful for every opportunity to do so.
