About
Desiree Azizoddin is a pain psychologist and behavioral scientist at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She completed a post-doctoral clinical fellowship in Pain Psychology at Stanford University and then completed a post-doctoral research research fellowship at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. Before that she completed her internship at the Jesse Brown VA in Chicago in Health Psychology, and her doctoral degree at Loma Linda University in California. Her research specializes in developing novel behavioral pain management interventions for cancer patients using opioids. Her research is funded by an NCI K08 Career Development Award and NCI R21. She is a co-investigator on other NCI-funded awards and previously received a Jack Kornfeld Scholars Award from the National Palliative Care Research Center.
