Cynthia Moir

Welcome! I am Cynthia Moir, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in NC, and graduate of North Carolina A&T State University where I majored in Agency Counseling. I am an experienced co-parenting and family stabilization facilitator with a heart for families and couples in need of calm and peace in their lives. Prior to private practice, I served clients in community mental health and non-profits. I provided trauma informed therapy for domestic violence survivors as well as college students and those struggling with grief. I believe in being an active partner in helping clients address their individual concerns, giving direct honest feedback while also providing a safe, non-judgmental environment.

I show up in a space where you can feel safe, valued, and heard. Working with adults and families, I employ an eclectic approach including CBT, family systems, and person centered care. With more than 7 years of experience providing supervised visitation for clients in high conflict or high risk situations access to their children, I feel confident in my ability to hold even the most delicate of partnerships in my presence as we all work toward your common goals. I believe every person holds the potential for change, and I aim to help you acquire the necessary resources for positive transformation.
