Christopher Griffith

I am an LPCC-S from Kentucky and I served for the last 26 years as the Supervisor for Family Life Counseling Service a program of Christian Appalachian Project. We are a 501 (c) (3) organization serving Central Appalachia. I have previously worked for 8 years on the KY Board of Licensed Professional Counselors (2 years as Chair) and am the current Ethics Chair for the KY Counseling Association. I'm the Past-President of the KY Mental Health Counselor's Association and had the opportunity to participate on the original advisory group for the ACA Counseling Interstate Compact effort. I have extensive experience with Trauma, Depressive Disorders and Anxiety as well as Family and Couples Counseling. Intimate Partner Violence has been central to my career and I have trained on that subject for many years. My current training focus is Legal and Ethical Issues for Licensed Counselors and Supervision/ Leadership Development.
