Equip is a pioneering virtual eating disorder treatment program that empowers patients to access evidence-based care from their own homes. Built by clinical experts and people with lived experience, Equip treatment is designed to help people achieve sustainable recovery. Each Equip patient has access to a dedicated multidisciplinary care team and receives an adaptable, personalized treatment plan. Equip treats patients of all ages and all eating disorder diagnoses in all 50 states, and accepts most insurance plans.
Equip Academy is a CE program, created by Equip with one clear mission: to educate the clinical community on eating disorders, for free. This year alone, it’s estimated that 5.5M Americans will be affected by an eating disorder, only 23% of them will get treatment, and an even smaller fraction will get treatment that works. By uncovering research, insights from treating different populations, education on lesser known signs and symptoms, and recommendations on guiding patients to treatment, Equip Academy's goal is to provide you and your colleagues with tools and knowledge, to ultimately help close the treatment gap for patients struggling with eating disorders.
