Dr. Karol Darsa, is an accomplished trauma psychologist. In her over-25 year career in trauma and mental health disorders, Dr. Darsa published The Trauma Map: Five Steps to Reconnect With Yourself, founded the Reconnect Trauma Treatment Center, and created the Reconnect Integrative Trauma Treatment Model (RITTM). Reconnect Center is an outpatient mental health treatment center that is specialized in the treatment of trauma and dissociative disorders that offers partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. . It is an integrative approach that uses the following modalities: EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor therapy, Neurofeedback, Heartmath, acupuncture , yoga, DBT, Janina Fisher's parts model as well as various skills based group therapies.
