Where did the name Enso come from? An enso is a Japanese word meaning “circular form.” It is representative of many aspects which we hope, as clinicians, to help people achieve. The form itself can be open or closed. When closed, an enso symbolizes perfection. When open, it shows movement and development, representing the beauty in imperfection.

An incomplete enso is a perfect way to think about therapy. The growth of any individual is never complete, always allowing space for growth, personal insight, and change. The journey taken through therapy can help to move towards better wellbeing.
