About

Overview

Founded in 1939 by Bill Wilson, Marty Mann, and the leading pioneers of recovery, High Watch is the world’s first treatment center founded on the Twelve Step principles.

Our storied past laid the groundwork for what is now a 90-bed inpatient residential treatment center and detox facility with 30 sober living beds, a partial hospitalization program and both virtual and in-person IOP services.

Located on nearly 400 acres in Litchfield County Connecticut’s Northwest hills, our sprawling campus is dotted with historic buildings that meld beautifully with our brand new detox center.

High Watch is a special place where thousands of alumni still call their home away from home.
