Description
When an individual is struggling in outpatient therapy, determining when higher levels of care are needed can be a difficult decision for clinicians and families to face. This webinar will provide practical tools for recognizing clinical indicators that a higher level of care is needed, distinguishing between varying levels of symptom severity, and supporting families of adolescents and young adults through the treatment decision process.
Attendees will also learn effective strategies for helping families establish healthy boundaries while avoiding shame, enabling, and power struggles. Finally, we will explore evidence-based criteria for evaluating treatment programs and identifying potential red flags, providing clinicians with greater confidence when making thoughtful referrals for their clients.
