Educational Goal
The educational goal of this workshop is to learn how to identify trauma, learn about adverse childhood experiences and how they can impact individuals later in life, learn about how trauma manifests behaviorally and cognitively, and how to apply trauma-informed care principles to our work.

Trauma is widespread and can affect many areas of life. In this presentation, we will explore:

Presenters
Jamie Bailey is a person in long term recovery. She is a certified peer recovery support specialist, certified peer support supervisor and trainer of other peer support specialists. She holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, a master’s degree in mental health counseling and is a licensed chemical dependency counselor. She is a yoga teacher (RYT200).
