Description

The Conversations that Shape Us: What You Wish Other Mental Health Counselors Understood

Some of the most important conversations in our profession never happen between client and counselor; they happen between us. They're the ones we carry home after a hard session, the questions we hesitate to raise in supervision, the experiences we assume no one else would understand.

This conference creates the space for those conversations.

The Conversations that Shape Us invites mental health counselors to come together not as presenters and audience, but as colleagues with hard-won wisdom to share. Whether it's the realities of compassion fatigue, the nuances of working with specific populations, the weight of systemic barriers, or the moments of unexpected grace that keep us in this work, this is where those truths get a seat at the table.

Join us for a two days of honest dialogue, shared learning, and the kind of professional connection that reminds us why this work matters. Because the field grows not just through research and training, but through counselors who are willing to tell the truth about what they know.
