The educational goal of this workshop is to gain new insight and skills to manage clinical practice in more sustainable ways to combat symptoms of compassion fatigue.

Description

Clinicians are invited to participate in this session if they have been feeling overwhelmed and burned out by the work they do. Practical tools for handling your stress levels will be provided. Attendees will be able to immediately implement skills learned to improve their clinical practice and overall well-being. This presentation will go deeper than a discussion on self-care.

Presenters

Natasha D'Arcangelo, QS, LMHC, NCC, CCTP, CCFP

Natasha is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the states of Florida, Oregon and Washington, a Florida Qualified Supervisor, a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP), a Compassion Fatigue Educator and a Certified Forward Facing Professional Resilience Coach and Consultant. She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, Sarasota. She is the Director of Clinical Services for Lakewood Residential Treatment Center, the Chief Clinical Officer for LBee Health and the owner of D’Arcangelo Counseling & Consulting, LLC. Her previous experience includes working as an educator, an inpatient psychiatric setting, community mental health, private practice, the nonprofit sector, and mental health tech. She is an international speaker that has presented on various topics, most often on Compassion Fatigue.
