Description
This course is designed to enhance clinical competence of healthcare professionals working with aging populations regarding substance use disorders in older adults. More specifically, this course will review the unique prevalence patterns, risk factors, co-occurring psychiatric conditions, special clinical considerations, and evidence-based treatment for diagnosing and managing substance use in older adults.
