Jami Barney, MBA brings a background in healthcare management and clinical research to her role as Clinical Research Director at Ashley Addiction Treatment. In 2021, she joined Ashley Addiction Treatment to help build and advance its internal research program. Today, Jami leads both independent and academic research initiatives, translating clinical data into actionable insights that can improve addiction treatment. Her work focuses on identifying patient characteristics and treatment needs to inform more individualized care pathways and better outcomes. Through research, she is committed to strengthening the connection between scientific discovery and everyday clinical practice in addiction medicine.

Greg Hobelmann, MD, MPH currently serves as a Co CEO of Ashley Addiction Treatment. In this role, he oversees the clinical, medical and nursing staff for both the inpatient and outpatient clinics, in addition to general operations. He previously worked as an interventional pain specialist as well as a staff psychiatrist after completing his psychiatry residency at Johns Hopkins. He completed an anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins in 2006 and has a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His treatment interests include substance use disorder and chronic pain.

Jeff Jay, BSc, CADC, CIP, is a clinical interventionist and addiction counselor with over 30 years of experience working with individuals and their families. He is the co-author of Love First: A Family’s Guide to Intervention (Hazelden, 2021, with Debra Jay) and a recipient of the 2026 NAATP Michael Ford Award for writing excellence. Jeff trains and certifies clinical interventionists and provides community education and in-depth online resources. He has also written articles for local and national publications. Jeff holds a B.Sc. in Philosophy of Counseling from the University of Minnesota and maintains certifications as a Certified Intervention Professional (CIP) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC).
