Description
As the epidemic of substance use disorder rages on in our communities, families of those with SUD are often desperate to get their loved one the life-saving services they need. Many families seek to have and intervention with their loved one and a trained professional as an effort to get them help. Though interventions may be a helpful tool for some people, not every family is the right fit. This workshop will demystify the intervention process and include discussion of pre-intervention work, working with the families to create new healthy boundaries, and the business side of an intervention.
