LCCNC Events Committee Chair; Elizabeth (Liz) White
Liz White is a seasoned mental health professional with over 10 years of experience in
counseling and supervision. Specializing in substance use, trauma, grief, and crisis stabilization,
she currently manages the Clinical Student Training Center for the Advocacy, Recovery,
Compassion, and Healing (ARCH) team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in
Winston-Salem, NC. Liz recruits, trains, and supervises master's-level interns from local
counseling and healthcare programs.
Her research interests include integrated care, co-occurring disorders, and trauma-informed
supervision. Liz is also a Practitioner Instructor at Wake Forest University, teaching both basic
and advanced counseling skills courses. She is pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and
Supervision from Capella University. Active in professional organizations, Liz chairs the Events
Committees of the Licensed Clinical Counselors of North Carolina and contributes to advisory
boards at Wake Forest University and UNC Greensboro. Liz holds multiple certifications,
including LCMHCS, LCAS, CCTP, and CCS.

LCCNC Membership Committee Chair; Michele Seeley
Michele Seeley, MA LCMHC, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor based in High
Point, North Carolina, and the founder of Michele Seeley PLLC. After nearly 20 years away from
academia, she returned to school to pursue her passion for helping others, earning her Master’s
in Professional Counseling from Amberton University in 2012. Since then, Michele has worked
in both nonprofit and private practice settings, supporting clients facing depression, anxiety,
trauma, and domestic violence.
She primarily offers therapy through telehealth, allowing her to connect with a wider range of
clients across the state. Michele is especially passionate about empowering women to set
healthy boundaries and lead more fulfilling lives. Her previous experience as an adult
advocate—helping clients obtain protective orders—also gave her meaningful insight into how
the legal system intersects with mental health.
Michele volunteers with the Membership Committee of LCCANC, supporting the organization’s
ongoing efforts to strengthen the counseling community in North Carolina. Outside of her work,
she enjoys reading, watching comedies, knitting, crocheting, and spending quality time with her
husband, daughter, young granddaughter, and their beloved pets.
