The South Carolina Counseling Association is proud to present "Safe & Seen: the Childhood Trauma Symposium." This 6-hour continuing education event will provide attendees will best practices in Trauma-Informed care and practical strategies for working with both children and adult trauma survivors. Our speakers practice in various settings including private practice, in- patient / residential and play therapy. Together we are thrilled to give the gift of hope and healing to children in need. All proceeds from this event will go directly to SC non-profit First Light to provide free Trauma-Informed Counseling Services to children who have experienced sexual abuse.
