Description
This module serves as an introduction to the Recovery Specialist Role, exploring role differentiation between recovery specialist, sponsor, and therapist and Recovery Specialist principles, skills, and actions. Participants will learn the 6 tools within the role of Recovery Specialist and how to use them with clients. We will also cover the ethical responsibilities of a recovery specialist and provide guidelines for making ethical decisions. We will discuss real-world examples of ethical dilemmas specific to Recovery Specialists.
