Description
Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (dTMS) is a FDA-approved, noninvasive neurostimulation technique that has been used for almost 10 years, with 30 years of research, to treat a variety of mental health conditions, including Major Depressive Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Smoking Addiction. For clients who have found traditional psychotherapy and medications to be insufficient, dTMS may be an option. This workshop will present current research on dTMS’s application and efficacy.

Presenters
Jason Thompson, Director of the Depression and Concussion Division, Vice President brings his passion for healing and educating to his role as Director of Deep TMS and Hyperbaric Services at All Points North Lodge. He loves educating and treating clients with newer technologies and guiding them through the healing process with a holistic approach.
For school, Jason attended South University in Savannah, Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences. In addition, he is a certified EMT-P and trained in TMS for Brainsway and Nuerostar. Since 2004, he has been working in a variety of healthcare settings such as an EMT and Director of Neuromodulation in Texas. Most recently, Jason was the TMS Director and Business Development Manager in McKinney, Texas.
The most rewarding moments of his career so far have been observing the outcomes of treatment in his clients and being a part of their road to recovery. He always goes the extra mile to ensure that quality is measured amongst each individual.
