To help attendees reconceptualize resistance in treatment and increase skills to cultivate safety, honesty, and vulnerability in the therapeutic relationship.
Description
This experiential workshop will help attendees develop skills to increase and deepen feelings of safety, honesty, and vulnerability in both individual and group settings. Attendees will also participate in a demonstration that will show how to create safety from the inside out. By using these approaches, client resistance decreases, emotional connection increases, and treatment goals become more sustainable long-term.

Jill Krush LPC, ACS, CAS, CP, PAT, CET III
Jill Krush is a masters level clinician and nationally known therapist, coach, trainer, speaker, and educator. She is known for her whimsical nature in telling the truth when it’s hard to do so, and she is known for employing action methods, such as psychodrama, in treatment. She supports her clients by helping them stay grounded in their strengths and by helping them achieve post traumatic growth. She leads professional trainings, workshops, and personal growth intensives all over the country. She holds the position of Chief Experiential Officer at Choice House, a specific treatment continuum for male-identified individuals in Boulder, Colorado, and she has a private practice in Boulder, Colorado. In addition, she serves with ONSITE workshops and leads experiential trainings across the country.
