Description

In this hands-on presentation addressing the demands of leadership in the behavioral health field, Heather Schnoebelen, Vice President of Clinical Services at Onsite, will guide you through a distinctly different approach to leadership that is crucial for individual and organizational success. Along the way, they will share insights and wisdom on the benefits of mentorship. This experiential presentation will explore our field’s unique needs from a business and clinical lens. Together, we will explore the path to stronger leadership in behavioral health.

Jim Geckler

Jim Geckler is an industry veteran who brings an impressive background to the Onsite team as our Chief Operating Officer with over 25 years of success in the management and growth of treatment organizations. Most recently, he served as CEO of Harmony Foundation in Colorado.
Over his impressive career, Jim has served as the Director of Patient, Alumni, and Community Relations at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Executive Director/COO of Assistance in Recovery, and VP of Business Operations for Addiction Intervention Services. He has a track record of leading with heart and is admired within the space for his character, integrity, and ability to produce results by prioritizing quality services and team culture.

Heather Schnoebelen LCMHCS, LCAS, CSS, CTT-II

Heather is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor, a Clinical Addictions Specialist, and a Certified Trauma Therapist. She completed a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. With nearly 20 years in the treatment industry, her clinical experience includes direct client care and executive leadership roles at inpatient, outpatient, and wilderness therapy programs.

Heather has been a part of developing, designing, and opening five dual diagnosis and trauma informed behavioral health substance use programs.  Her clinical expertise includes working with the LGBTQ+ community, trauma, mental health, substance use disorders, spirituality, anxiety, depression, grief and loss. Her clinical approach is person-centered, holistic, and humanistic, utilizing evidence-based experiential interventions to support the growth of individuals.
