The educational goal of this presentation is for participants to gain knowledge about alcohol detox and
withdrawal management.
Description
During this session, participants will learn the signs of alcohol withdrawal and how to support clients in both inpatient and outpatient withdrawal. Participants will learn the ways in which alcohol use and misuse affect the body and learn strategies for communicating that information to patients in a way that can assist with motivating that client to seek treatment.

Presenters
