Educational Goal
To reduce stigma regarding telehealth; increase knowledge of technology available for outcome and real-time measurement, relapse prevention, and opioid-use disorder (OUD) withdrawal reduction; and increase knowledge of how to apply these technologies to improve clinical outcomes and better serve underserved populations.
Description
This presentation will provide a comprehensive analysis of how telehealth-based interventions compare to traditional treatment methods in both short- and long-term recovery outcomes for SUDs and mental health disorders. We will examine key metrics such as engagement rates, treatment adherence, relapse prevention, and sustained recovery, drawing from emerging research and clinical case studies.
Additionally, this presentation will address advancements in digital health technology and how they are further enhancing the efficacy of telehealth-based treatment.
Lastly, this presentation will explore policy implications, highlight successful implementation models, and discuss strategies for optimizing telehealth to ensure equitable access and improved patient outcomes.
