Educational Goal

The educational goal of this workshop is to support behavioral health professionals in utilizing an intervention tool to increase understanding of self and others (supervisees) about cultural identity and how this shows up in professional work.

Description

To be effective supervisors, it is imperative that supervisors understand the contextual factors in which their supervisee was raised personally and professionally and how these various factors contribute to therapeutic approach. This training will explore a culturally sensitive way in which supervisors can increase understanding of their supervisee and support supervisee insight, growth, and development professionally and clinically.
