Description
Forgiveness is an essential intervention to help clients resolve anger over past wounds and betrayals, heal relationships and restore peace of mind. This session will explore the clinical therapeutic steps to help couples work through anger and get to forgiveness.

Daniel Jurek, LPC-S
Daniel Jurek, LPC-S is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor and the Director of the Pax Renewal Center in Lafayette, LA.
Dan and his wife Jane have been married for 41 years. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Before establishing the Pax Renewal Center, Dan spent 16 years in Catholic High School Ministry and Education, 2 years in Catholic Collegiate Campus Ministry, and 2 years as Associate Dean of Students and Director of Student Personnel at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Dan earned a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans. He also earned a Masters degree in Christian Ministry and Renewal from Franciscan University, Steubenville, Ohio. His Bachelor of Arts Degree is in Theology, also from the Franciscan University. He also holds a certification in Spiritual Direction from the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
