Description
This presentation offers a comprehensive overview of grief and loss, emphasizing how various forms of loss can profoundly impact individuals emotionally, physically, and psychologically. Designed for mental health professionals and caregivers, the training explores the wide range of losses that can trigger grief—not just the death of a loved one but also losses related to relationships, health, identity, and life transitions.
Participants will gain tools to recognize common grief reactions, distinguish between different types of grief, and apply appropriate therapeutic interventions to support clients through the grieving process. Special attention is given to complicated grief, helping professionals identify when the grieving process becomes prolonged or disruptive and how to intervene effectively.
