Description

Are you a supervisor doing tele-supervision? This workshop is for you! Ethics can be a minefield in supervision and with the added layer of tele-supervision, additional ethical concerns arise. This workshop will focus on the unique ethical concerns that apply to tele-supervision. An ethical decision-making model will be presented along with a discussion of ethical dilemmas in tele-supervision.

Presenters

Dr. Adrianne Trogden

Dr. Adrianne Trogden is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor as well as a Licensed Addiction Counselor and Certified Clinical Supervisor in the State of Louisiana. She graduated with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of New Orleans in 2017 and graduated with a Master’s in Community Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2004. She has worked in both mental health and addiction fields since 2002 in a variety of areas, including: home-based counseling, addiction treatment, dual-diagnosis, partial hospitalization with adolescents, private practice, transitional housing for women, children services, Homebuilders, and juvenile court. She is trained in EMDR, forensic mental health evaluation and Acudetox. She is the COO at Counsel NOLA, is a professor at the University of the Cumberlands, and has a private practice in New Orleans She contracts with the United States Navy to provide supervision for Navy substance abuse counselors, is a CARF surveyor, and owns Trogden Counseling & Consulting, LLC.
