Educational Goal

The educational goal of this workshop is to increase knowledge about clinician burnout and learn ways AI driven automation for documentation can help mitigate burnout and improve patient outcomes.

Description

Clinician burnout is a critical challenge in healthcare, driven by excessive documentation burden, administrative inefficiencies, and high workload demands. Research shows that these factors not only erode clinician well-being and work-life balance but also compromise the quality of patient care. This panel will examine one of the causes of clinician burnout– the labor-intensive nature of documentation and poor EHR usability. They will discuss evidence-based strategies, including AI-driven automation and streamlined workflow practices, to mitigate these effects. By reducing administrative burdens, healthcare organizations can enhance clinician satisfaction and retention, ultimately leading to more accurate treatment planning, improved compliance, and better patient outcomes.
