Over the course of his career, Dr. Parish has combined teaching, clinical practice, ministry, and nonprofit leadership. His work in church settings included serving as a Youth Minister in Tucson, Arizona, and later as a Family Minister and Family Therapist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
