Description
As professionals working with patients suffering from substance abuse disorders, it is essential to understand how substances impact the brain. From a clinical perspective, knowing what is happening in the brain is vital to understanding behaviors and symptoms. This training seeks to increase knowledge of post-acute withdrawal symptoms (PAWS) and behavioral interventions we can use with our patients to retrain the brain and decrease the discomfort associated with detox and early recovery.
