Description
The National Association for Children of Addiction (NACoA) leads national and international efforts to support children affected by parental substance use, addressing the estimated 1-in-4 children in the U.S. and 1-in-5 in the U.K. who live with a parent with a substance use disorder. This session examines scalable, culturally responsive, family-centered interventions—like Celebrating Families! and The Clergy Education and Training Project®—that interrupt intergenerational harm and promote resilience. Participants will explore how these evidence-based models translate across different systems and communities, with a lens on accessibility, equity, and lived experience.
