Description
In the world of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment, there is often a divide between clinical treatment and 12-Step programs. Though many professionals view these two options as dichotomous, in reality, they can work together to provide meaningful help to a person suffering from SUDs. This workshop will explore how the 12-Steps can fit into clinical practice, including discussion of spiritual components of recovery.

Presenters
Brad Sylvain is the Senior Vice President of Revenue and Growth at Origins Recovery Behavioral Healthcare in West Palm Beach, Florida. Brad brings over a decade of mental health and substance use disorder treatment experience, including roles as a Program Coordinator, Recovery Care Specialist, and Director of Admissions. Brad is skilled at managing and collaborating with organizational teams and providing administrative and operational oversight. He holds a master’s in Public Administration. Brad and his family have been personally affected by drug and alcohol addiction, and he is passionate about helping others who have also been affected by this disease. He lives by the driving forces of spirituality and the 12-Steps.
